What does climate change have to do with my company?
It is now universally agreed that climate change is happening and there is growing pressure for companies to be seen to be doing something about it.
Under the Climate Change Act (enacted November 2008) the UK will have binding carbon reduction targets - ambitious ones at that.
Every company will need to get involved. Already many FTSE 350 companies are signed up to the Carbon Disclosure Project (see link).
If you are tendering for business with Government departments, local authorities, charities, pension funds and big businesses the chances are you will be asked for your environmental credentials.
